My brother bought me a set of these blades for both of my vehicles back in 2007. I have a 1999 Taurus, and 2002 Crown Vic Sport. The wipers blades on my Taurus are now starting to fail and not wiping the windshield clear anymore. Blades are drying out and no longer making smooth contact on the windshield but amazing still no chatter. Keep in mind the blades on my cars are going to "11 YEARS OLD" I like the fact PIAA offers refills the problem is the physical structure of my blades is loose and they are faded to a dull flat almost like a gray color and they have surface rust breaking out at the joints. I don't know if PIAA ever thought about the rubber blade out lasting the structure. I have no complaints at all. I live in North Carolina around the Raleigh area. We have temperatures that range from 20 degrees up to over 100 during the year. We have snow, ice, hail, sleet, heavy thunderstorms, long dry periods, humid climate at times. It has taken 11 years of all this to finally wear out these blades and my Taurus has never been garaged. Awsome job PIAA a hope the next set is just as good.
I really like these wipers. This is the second pair that I've bought. First pair lasted the life of my wife's 2000 Rav 4. I just put them on her 2006 Rav 4 and thoroughly expect them to last the life of the vehicle. The silicone repels water so well you often don[t even need to turn the wipers on, and when you do, they are silent running. Nothing I hate worse than noisy wipers. Thanks, PIAA, for a superb wiper.
Better than expected so far. I was a little worried when I applied the silicone cloth on the window it says wait 10 minutes and then dry off with a cloth but it started pouring down raining out of nowhere before I got to dry off. Didn't seem to matter though as they worked flawlessly.
Immediately saw a difference in the blades. The wipes in the wiper container fill in the scratches on the windshield and allow the new wipers to to slide over the windshield with ease.
Very impressive product. The older style blade (rubber) would stick and skip on the windshield so I decided to try these. Once I figured out how to attach them to the blades they work GREAT. I would purchase again for sure. The are reportedly supposed to last a lot longer than rubber blades.
