Description: Polycarbonate and cast aluminum housing with polycarbonate lens.
PIAA wanted to perfect LED lighting when we designed rearward-facing bulbs and new “first-in-the-industry” reflector technology. The innovative design offers significantly improved lighting and beam control compared to conventional LED and halogen lamps with forward-facing bulbs. The result is greater visibility for drivers.
Key to achieving these performance advantages is PIAA’s advanced Reflective Facing Technology (RFT). PIAA’s exclusive computer-designed, multi-surface reflector concentrates and focuses the beam pattern of the rearward-facing LED bulbs more precisely than forward-facing LED lamps. RFT is featured in PIAA’s LP Series and RF Series LED lights.
Both series of PIAA LED lamps provide brilliant illumination, but with lower power consumption than conventional LED and halogen lamps. They light the road with brilliant cobalt-blue color that is clearly visible to oncoming traffic, providing an added measure of driving safety. The lamps are compact and durable, with the cast aluminum housings and polycarbonate lenses.
PIAA LP570 LED White Long Range Driving Beam Kit installation instructions
Were easy to hook up. High quality harness and the lights are really bright and look great. Couldn't be happier
Installed it on a Mini Cooper 2015 3 Door S - F56. Took a few hours to install. Incredibly easy to use. The LED light does not blind oncoming traffic. Fairly distant throw on it too. Price was worth it.
This is my first set of LED lights. Replaced a set of Hella Optilux HIDs that really disappointed. Wish I'd spent the $350 to start with as now I'm out $550 with the abandoned Hellas. Down-the-road illumination is impressive. Would have given five stars but slightly disappointed in beam spread at about 200 feet where you'd like a little more illumination. The other mark-down, although I knew it going in, is the stone guards that make it very difficult to clean the (plastic) lenses. I removed them since the lights were mounted above the bumper so rocks aren't much of a concern. Be careful removing them - crazy tight. PIAA switches are nice hardware. With lower amperage draw am able to run off any harness. No regrets with decision.
Replaced the stock fog lights with the Piaa 570 LED lights on my Jeep JK. They are amazing for having only two LED's. Bright sharp focused beam. They work well in the fog and rain.
